Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
The Division's DEI Mission:

Providing an inclusive workplace, an equitable share of the division, and increasing diversity are critical to the success of the division of Operations and Finance.

Here are several initiatives currently underway in our division:

  • Examining all policies and procedures to ensure there is no targeted language or other barriers to equity 

    • Seeking opportunities to expand inclusive language within these same policies and procedures 

  • Working with hiring managers and UHR to utilize the diversity hiring toolbox

  • Formed an Advisory Committee with representation from all parts of the division

  • FPM partnering with Reiman Gardens to update common names of plants found locally that might include exclusionary language
    Targeting opportunities to expand our supplier network and open more roads to Minority Business Entities
